A Centennial Celebration Holy Trinity has one of the finest pipe organs in Vancouver. Built in the Anglo-Imperial style by the oldest organ manufacturer in North America, Casavant Frères of St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, in 1912, it is one of their most significant instruments. Our organ's 2271 pipes remain tonally unaltered, just as Casavant installed them 100 years ago. Now in its centennial year, ours is the first local organ to be given "Historical Organ" status by the Royal Canadian College of Organists. 2012 will prove to be an exciting year with the addition of an antiphonal division of 328 pipes to complete the original concept, making it the sixth largest organ in the Lower Mainland. We will be celebrating our organ's centennial with an anniversary performance by our organist, Michael Dirk, on Sunday, August 12 and a series of at least five special concerts by visiting artists.
